This week has been a truly enigmatic one, I do wonder where the days have gone as we head toward another weekend. Wow! Tomorrow is Friday already . The week which began in late summer early autumn warmth and has ended with frosty nights and crisp mornings.
This weekend will also be interesting following Saturday when hockey is on the cards, on Sunday afternoon Debbie and I are off to The Netherlands until Tuesday -apologies in advance for the lack of blog posts during the visit they will follow. More news on the reason for the trip in a week's time....... enigmatic again!!!

UBUNTU - 'I am because you are'

On a visit to my local Waitrose supermarket it was interesting to try a sample of a new cola drink that they are selling..... it has an interesting name Ubuntu, listen below to Nelson Mandela's description of the concept of Ubuntu as a philosophical concept.

It is not so surprising then that the name was chosen for this fair trade product.

Today I took to the hockey pitch again as a stubborn if slightly overweight defender for Abergavenny against a fit Whitchurch team, we sadly came up short losing 5-1. Our opponents were worthy winners who play the game in a refreshing way.

I needed a strong coffee and later a hot bath to bring me around.........and I know that my legs will not feel like they belong to me for some days.
