The local narrow-boats lie at anchor through the winter with the canal frozen over, temperatures have risen however much is still frozen. The days shorten and we see the sun dip behind the hills at around 2pm these winter days.

And I am still outside gardening at eight o'clock! Summer + a little rain = weeds!
