A strange sight appeared in the sky at 7 am this morning....... an aeroplane contrail supplied by a high altitude jet heading south west. An increasing amount of the trails appeared until lunchtime when the sky looked like a gigantic 'noughts and crosses'(tic
tac toe) board with so many airlines plying their trade....... the clear blue skies must have been similar to those seen prior to the age of the aeroplane, will they ever return?
