Day 2 in the Children's Ward at Nevill Hall Hospital. Jaycob who has suspected encephalitis (either chicken pox or herpes related) is responding slowly to treatment. He did manage to smile and squeeze my finger today. He is still quite tired but is now eating again.
It must be a very worrying time for you all. Thinking of you. Hang in there.

There's nothing more harrowing than a child in hospital -especially if it's unexpected. Thinking very good thoughts in your direction. I hope the improvement continues.
