Techniquest is the hands on Science Centre for children of all ages based at Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay. A must visit for the curious.
I had hoped to play my first game of field hockey for very nearly 12 months today. Unfortunately a frozen pitch in Whitchurch meant that the game was canceled!
I was left to sort out the removal of Sian's car for which we received the princely sum of £30!

At the end of a very long week I finally got turn off my work machines! !!! Not a minute too soon.
I couldn't face posting from a computer and this post comes using Blogaway an app for the G phone.

There would/should have been a photograph before this, it would have shown me at 8.15am this morning changing a flat front tyre in the IB car park. I got out of the car to a hissing from the front driver side tyre.... a bit of a tell tale noise when accompanied by a definite sinking feeling. 
A few weeks ago I received a comment on my main blog from Laine a the Macmillan Dictionary Blog. Their blog has been running a week for each of the countries which make up the UK and this week is 'Welsh-English Week', each week they ask a group of bloggers from the country concerned to put up guest blog posts and today it was my turn..... above is my blog post with the link ( this link will change to other posts through the week).
Today's picture was taken this afternoon on the 'Village Green' at the IB in Cardiff. It is a shot of the inaugural meeting of The 'IB Peterson Symposium Blog' group - this is a collection of like minded educators and technology users who will be working with the wider IB community to begin discussing issues ahead of the Symposium itself later this year. 
We had a great day in an around the world of Lauren Child, this was topped off by visiting other galleries including the must trip to see 'Dinosaurs' in The Evolution of Wales Gallery.
Today being a Saturday I was out and about and happened to bump into @timmillwood and also @kellymillwood and baby Joshua ( born 09 01 2010) - apparently Joshua is finding himself quite ambivalent to the difference between day and night - hence the bleary eyed look!
While out shopping I couldn't resist snapping this picture of the front cover of a this bargain book that I spotted in a local bookshop! Comment unnecessary I believe?
Yesterday's object was of course the automatic stapler that has been the must have gadget in our office over the past few moths since I brought it in from home. The stapler had been a Christmas present a few years back and was being used in my home office. However it has gained a new lease of life with my work chums enjoying it so much.
The shot of today is of the '3D glasses geeks' (@pj23harry and @jamesfk) at the Odeon Cinema in Cardiff Bay prior to going in to see Avatar in iMax. It was the second viewing for @pj23harry however I believe that this viewing added subtlety to the 3D imagery from the master - James Cameron, really showing off the images of an alien planet to its best - Bravo.
I would hate to say it however today's blog post has been the toughest yet..... it has been one of those days plenty to do, however I am keen to avoid more weather related blog posts hence this snap of the packet of Wotsits that I had with a latte for lunch today. Shame I here people say, that is the spelling of course, I personally hate the 'Toys R Us' and 'Wotsits' spellings that occur in advertising, while I agree that my own spelling and grammar is not brilliant I do despair of the this use of language!
I couldn't resist this shot today, in the centre of Abergavenny depicting its history as a farming and market town, is a bronze statue depicting a farmer with an ewe and her lamb. This is timely as lambing time is upon us in the UK, the snow surrounding the statue shows the conditions that many farmers will be enduring at present.
